Cranswick Subsidiary Summoned to Court Over Animal Cruelty Allegations at Lincolnshire Farm

Lawyers for Animals has brought a legal case against Elsham Linc Limited, a subsidiary of Hull-based meat supplier Cranswick, following an undercover investigation at North Moor Farm near Market Rasen. The company faces 23 alleged offences under animal welfare and animal by-products legislation, based on evidence gathered between February and March 2024. Elsham Linc Limited is due to appear at Nottingham Justice Centre on August 26. Cranswick declined to comment.
